George, I agree with the Barron's article from inside of the industry. Numerous e&p projects have been either shelved or delayed.... These pulls/delays absolutely guarantee that production will drop moving into 1999 in Non-OPEC production. There is almost no oil or gas field on planet Earth (except on e or two gravity drive fields) that will increase production if you do not (1) drill more wells; and/or (2) service the current wellbores....
