Jazzbo, if this deal is structured the way i believe it to be and it follows the game plan, the kids will be selling cards year round, it is an easy sell...a lot of the times during the year our travel teams constantly need money for, travel, tournament fee's, ect....the candy sales we do, or did, were a one shot deal at sign-up's, the rest of the year we have what is called, tagging, where as we put 2 kids each at some of the local supermarkets and conveniance stores and they shake cans for money...ill tell you from personal experiance,... this is a pain in the butt...it is not easy to get parents to get up and get there kids ready to go out on a sat. or sun. morning at 6:30am to shake a money can from 7-10, which is the ideal time for greatest impact,..you also find that at many times, you show up there and an another organization such as a soccer league has already taken your spots...the parents really get ticked then...so..enter the CARD.. With the card the kids and parents can carry them and sell them at there own time and pace, and i do believe this will work tens times easier and will generate ten times what the "tagging" produces... when kids tag, they average 25.00 dollars each for 3 hours work, that would equal 6 card sales....in "tagging" the people who give you money get nothing in return but a thank you...with the "card" way they get something of actual value, so it makes for an easier sale with a lot less time involved and you are not trying to compete at the same place as other organizations...the thing just got better...and as Marty would say..its a win, win, win, situation for everyone...
