I agree with you. Clinton's done far worse. Perjury, witness tampering, obstruction, submitting a false afidavit --- he pretty much wasted the times of the judge, juries, etc. There's also a good article today in Barron's on Clinton trying to wag the markets by putting out lies about economic policies. He's pretty much lost his marbles like Nixon.

It is very ironic that a man who had unappropriate affairs will held a team to impeach a president who had the same unappropriate affairs. Technically, the president did not lie at all, the president did confess that he had unapproprate relation with Miss Lu..ky. The Republican just abused their constitutional power . The Republican congress set a very bad example to the world about what the American democracy is all about. For different crimes, you have different level of penalty. Death penalty is not the only result. The president's misconduct did not fit the standard of impeachment set by the constitution. Livingston knew that , so he resigned, and reject to lead the team which will be labeled as destroyer of American democratic system on the history book. It is a shame. The Republican really showed their true color this time , and they will be the big loser in year 2000, and people will not forget !!!! All the republicans who vote for the impeachment should be kicked out of the house , and should be put on the people's name list .
