Yes, if the Republicans came out and confessed that they are just "regular guys" like the rest of America, they need not resign! Of course, this means they will lose the stick with which they would try to beat their opponents, but hey, at least they get to keep their jobs!

But I don't think they would. And I don't think they can! For, hypocrisy has seeped just way too deep into their systems...

I think Livingston was setting an example for Henry Hyde, who destroyed a family
by his adultery , and he said it did not matter , because this case is about "Lie under oath", not about "sex" or "private matter".So, If Livingston had the courage to resign, where are you Mr. Henry Hyde ? Why do you have such double standard ?
