To expand on those flaws by lying under oath, an act even flawed beings find under law to be reprehensible, is unconscionable and deserves removal from office. Livingston, no matter how honorable in his political life, should and did step aside to avoid claims of hypocrisy. This is first and foremost an issue of law and secondarily an issue of honor. It is high time that our leaders, republican and democrat alike, realize that real leadership is done by example. Respect can only be achieved by commanding...not demanding. It (respect) is not a right it is EARNED.
