News on SEEK
cbs.marketwatch.com
Some of you may have already seen this article - quite negative towards SEEK, I sold out a few days ago at $47, am hoping it will drop some this next week after the impeachment vote. Net stocks have been soaring lately and it's about time they pull back some.

Just playing the rides - I do like SEEK long term though, too much marketing behind this portal. I believe that most people that cover these stocks truly don't know much about the net or believe it. I for one believe in 5-10 years (or even sooner), the net will be the main media source out there and who better to be in with - Disney.

russ, we agree
if you go back 50 years
and just bought disney everytime
it was out of favor
you would have made a pile of money

i think that seek now has good tech
i like their search better than yhoo
by a mile--and i used to use yhoo all the time

add this tech with motro's penny pinching
and disneys media and we will have a winner

yes, we may get sell-offs due to poor earnings
for 1-2 years, but as the eyeballs grow
and as bob and alice start to search the net

they will gravitate to disney before yhoo, excite, etc.
no one else has disney or espn
