OT:
Two years ago I went to an animal shelter in Flushing, Queens to adopt a cat for my daughter. I came away with TWO gold tiger striped
kitties. They were brothers and I couldn't find it in my heart to break up a family. I got them from ANIMAL HAVEN - they never ever destroy
an animal. If an animal (dogs and cats), are not adpoted they will keep the animal until it's time for greener pastures. The most humane
animal shelter I've ever seen - they even have volunteers from local
Junior and High schools pitching in to help. I've been making contributions to them on a semi-annual basis since the adoption and
feel it is well worth it.

JWC, TOPFUEL, and dennis1 - it was a pleasure reading your posts about the Humane Society. Lots of lovable dogs and cats waiting to come home to caring owners.

Anyways -- even more Off topic -

My wife was just witness to an unusual (I think) event. She said the stray white cat casually strolled across our living room - lifted his right leg - and as she politely put it - "broke the wind". Seconds later - after she warned me - we smelled the result. My gosh !! We've been feeding this cat - in addition to Bald Eagle and Tiger - like a king and this is the appreciation we get. :~)

Regards,

Phil
