Alastair, again, good article, not to the point. Behavior of Registered Representatives presumes the regulation is applied to someone who is registered. Our question is: suppose someone gives the impression of being "a professional," but is in fact not a member of some self-regulating organization? Does anything regulate the stock promotion activities of people who, for all intents and purposes, have the same status as me (that of being employed outside the financial industry?) CB
