Todd, if the market holds .... and I personally expect it to, then I believe we will have an earnings run-up. I haven't even seen that COOL is announcing earnings on the earnings calendars I look at ... but word is getting around !!. I also think that there is a better than 50/50 chance the CEO will be on CNBC.

Some may consider this as pure speculation, but its actually a conclusion based upon a number of facts:-

1) the CEO is savvy

2) this sector is hot

3) CNBC keep making noises about e-commerce and this will confirm their reports

4)CNBC keep talking about over-valued net-stocks ... heres a chance to do some comparisons (and i believe COOL will look very good)

When I trade I to look at as many angles as possible.

But as a word of caution, I recently did this with Geocities for the XOOM IPO. The Globe.com had just been upgraded and had jumped 12 points so that Geocities was trading at a 25% discount to the Globe. I figured XOOM would fly and then comparisons would be drawn by briefing.com/AOL market day or Steve Harmon. I should point out that these are net communities ... GCTY #1, XOOM#2, Globe#3 in size. Well ..... Steve Harmon finally wrote in his internet report that Geocities was undervalued ... two days after the IPO ...arrghhhh. No big deal ... but the point is that moves by the media are not as difficult to figure out in advance as may seem.

I had a happier experience with SHRP which I bought in the 6's and 7's on the Friday .... limited down risk ... and I knew from their preceeding earnings comments that their e-commerce site had grown 200-300% the previous qtr. Well .... it was then mentioned in Barron's weekend edition and SHRP opened at 21 on Monday !!.

I think COOL has a lot of potential in this regard, and whilst we all have to make our own decisions, try and think ahead to what positive and negative events might happen to the stock. This is impoirtant because this is an event driven market, and in the short term, I only see positive events for COOL. Whilst there are no guarantees, this should fuel a big positive move next week. Just like everything else .. one has to play the odds ...

Sorry ... I've rambled ...

Good luck all

Stephen
