Hi Gypsy. Yep you got it in a nutshell. We also agreed to discuss after hours......but newsreleases and a one-sided explanation is what I thought we should avoid.

A NR that "makes" the stock a daytrade is acceptable as reinforcement for mentioning it. Posting a URL to that release is probably acceptable.....but we have toconfine our online commentary to something readable in 10-15 secs or less.

The reasons the paramaters are a "little fuzzy" is so that a "gestapo" approach could be avoided. This discussion will help us to sort out our direction.

I think all of us have to look back over the last 100 posts and see many that don't really fit our purpsoe its up to all of us to sort out what we wnat i what we don't want.

MY vote

Short concise comments on a stock...mention it once....mention if there is a change......and then don't mention it again. Now after you are in...then updates are fine...but if you intend on turning it into a hold...like I did with REL and CIC then "momentum only should be reported" ie. COS moving...momentum looks good..the same for any others!!

I really think we should not post NR's! links....maybe/OK 9debate), I think "yours, mine or anyone elses reason for buying and retaining is irrelevant to a daytrader and leads to the "impression" you/I/they are pumping our portfolio content!!

If people want to know more about REL/COS/CIC for more than a daytrade they should look at the most knowledgeable thread on the subject..which would be "it's own thread"!!
