And the fact that Livingston was told by the RR to step down makes it even more remote than ever for GW Bush to come anywhere close to making the nomination...

So, we'll likely see Buchanan or Robertson making it! Wake up Republicans! Save your party!

Yes, the most likely scenario. Whichever party wins the Presidential elections, will also win the House.

And also the most ideal scenario we can think of. I like the party of the President having a majority in the House. That should prevent all those silly articles of impeachment from making it to the Senate...
