I didn't quote any source. And I'm not writing here as a journalist. Just an average citizen. From your anonymous perch it's pretty easy to lob your insults at people. What do you for a living? Professional political hack? Who are you anyway? What is your connection to this debate? What politicians have you given money to? What political organizations have you worked for? What party do you belong to? All my information is there for anyone to check out. Who are you?

I was giving my opinion and what I see as the opinion of many people. Your rigid legalistic viewpoint simply doesn't jibe with our justice system. But if you wanna get really legalistic about it and start spouting off about "equal justice", do you really think that Ken Starr's prosecutorial methods and evidence-gathering techniques wouldn't have come up in a court of law? Do you think a judge wouldn't have thrown this case out of court on technicalities a long time ago? Do you think a jury would convict? Did the founders insert a clause in the constitution about the need to hire an independent counsel whenever there were any allegations of presidential misconduct?

I'm gonna go to the gym right now, so if I don't respond to your answer immediately or ever at all, it's not because you've come up with some clever, insulting retort, it's because I have better things to do.

Regards,
