Gentlemen tune your search engines........ sumnet.com After two years of R&D, Xiotech Corp. of Eden Prairie, Minn., has begun shipping evaluation units of its Magnitude external RAID subsystem to server and storage OEMs. The company has yet to disclose the names of OEMs or the price of the product, but said it is talking with other OEMs to extend its core technology into vertical applications. Xiotech is also working with developers of high-end database products, data mining apps and shared storage operating systems in order to increase the performance of on-line network storage.
