Savage2 is now out, S3 was showing if off last week in Boston. gdconf.com It looked the like its going to make us a ton of money and keep Ski up awake nights.(sorry Ski) It looked like may even be the .18 micron chip, but I'm not sure. It supports huge, compressed, textures automaticly, 32 bit color, AGP, and more. S3 expects to have it will be released before the Voodoo3. Hold on to your seats when you see the benchmarks. With the Intel deal, not only is S3 back, but I would expect most oem's first choice in 1999 and beyond.
