Definitely not the Reagan bombing in 10 Minutes. Mere is has been that the government has failed to comply with the Russian mob. So it has been quickly replaced with friendly guys looking away when the mob took the money out of eastern Europe former state owned companies.

The downfall of the Soviet Union was caused by the ultimate inability of communism to effectively compete with capitalist society in the West in general and the United States in particular. It took everything the SU could muster to maintain the military competition of the Cold War, leaving little for the quality of life which all people seek. This took over 40 years to occur. Reagan just happened to be around for the final act.
