Correction:

<<Just closed a $10m round of VC backed financing from Norwest Venture and others>>

I was thinking of a comment i had read by Mike Gorman who is with St. Paul Venture Capital not Norwest when i wrote the above.

If i recall correctly there were 8 VC Firms plus one corporate investor in the latest [$10.1M] Xiotech round. Investors included:

St. Paul Venture Capital [MN]
Cresendo Venture Management [MN]
Minnesota Management Partners [MN]
Gideon Hixson [MN]
Advent Internation [Boston]
Sigma Partners [Menlo Park]

I understand that Sigma Partners put up ~ 1/3 of the total $10.1M financing. Also interesting is that Mac Lewis, the managing partner of Minnesota Management Partners, and an Xiotech board member, is the former CEO of Computer Network Technology.

Info only, not speculation.
