Which actions have been taken on that guy who stated: "No more taxes. Read my lips"? Uhhh...he lost the next election. I don't understand what you mean by "dismissing Clinton is an exemplary act." I'm not dismissing Clinton. I'm asking what he did. Let me be real clear about this. I am not saying I like or dislike all politicians. I'm sure there a plenty of dirty ones. I am certain there are some good ones, as well. Here is what I am saying: there is a difference between right and wrong. There is a difference between good and evil. Right and wrong are different, depending upon where one lives on our planet. Looking at a Playboy magazine in Saudi Arabia is wrong; looking at a Playboy magazine in Denmark is not wrong. As a general rule, people don't do things they think are wrong. What they might do is something that they "used to think was wrong", but for some reason (usually it seems the reason is that they decided they were going to do it) has now become "not wrong". Adulterers may have the firm conviction that adultery should not be "wrong". People who smoke dope may be convinced that marijuana should be legal. I have my own views on these things, but that is not the issue. The issue is this: some things are wrong, all the time, no matter where you are. There is such a thing as good, there is such a thing as evil. Lying to a judge (or any body that has that power; in other words, in the framework of a legal proceeding) is wrong . Doing something wrong (whatever that might be), and then lying about it, is wrong . If you don't see this, then we cannot discuss the point further. This planet is not an anarchy. It is people. People that believe different things trying to get along with each other. Some of the people are interested in making things worse. Some are interested in making things better. We can argue all day about our differences. I am more interested in our similarities. You have the right to exist, and you have the right to make things better for yourself, your family, and those around you. You don't have the "right" to commit a felony. The reason there are laws and cops and all that is because some bonehead in the past felt like it was OK to commit a felony, so he did. I couldn't care less why he did it. He was wrong . If Clinton committed a felony, then he was wrong. So wrong that he can't be President. He can tap dance all he wants. His lawyers and his wife and Gebhart and Al Gore can jiggle all they want. It is not relevant. Democrat, Republican, Marxist, makes no difference. Jew, Muslim, Catholic, makes no difference. Swiss, German, French, Canadian, makes no difference. Human or chicken, makes no difference. We are talking about the law . Do the crime, do the time. End of story.
