I'd like to ask you a serious question. What exactly is it that you are angry and/or embarrassed about here? Please, if you would, I am trying to understand. Please be specific. Thanks.

Raven and Rose -

Yes, I am angry and embarrassed - angry and embarrassed that the Democratic party seems to avoid the facts. Since both of you seem very emotional about the issue, I ask the following:

1. This all started with the Paula Jones case in which he was the defendant. He lied. People say "but he only lied about sex". Well, what if it was a rape case, or he was accused of being a pedophile - would lying be important to you then?

I really do want to understand your opinion or that of Democrats supporting the president. I can't get past the fact that the man broke the law, lied to the american people, lied to a grand jury and appears to spit in the face of the basis of law in this country. The man has no shame. I would like to see the Democrats offer an intelligent argument. John Conyers was asked whether or not he thought President Clinton lied to the Grand Jury...his response went something like: "I can't tell, Ken Starr overstepped his bounds as an investigator....". Why can't the Democrats just have an intelligent discussion of the facts?

Appreciate your thoughtful response

<< any lurkers

around here who are angry or embarrassed about today's actions, please add your name to an apology for having elected representatives who do not represent the people >>

I have a better idea. Those that elected Clinton to begin with fully knowing about his other lies like inhaling and denying his affair with Gennifer Flowers should be the ones APOLOGIZING TO THE REST OF US FOR VOTING FOR HIM, who saw that Clinton was never anything more than a snake oil salesman.
