TED-

And I hope you continue to post, I enjoy them.

"In my opinion, your request to have Jeff publicly critique another person is out of line. If he voluntarily provided it, that's fine"

Now if Jeff posted that, fine, I accept, I just don't feel you or anybody else need be the mother hen.

As you must realize this is a public company, therefore IMO, one can publicly critique a WILLINGLY public person, I did not ask Jeff his opinion of Gruder's wife or child(ren). That's the difference, pal.

Hey, I guess I'm not "socially acceptable". Fine I can live with that, TED, I'm a young guy, if I lose my investment, so be it, I'll make it back. Can you??

As you stated; You see it one way, I see it another. We're on the same side, but my choice, right or wrong, is to be the "squeaky wheel".

As Larry Boy said, If Bob wants to surround himself "yes men" it will not do the company any good, nor us. That goes for this board.

FWIW, i will share several opinions of Gruder. Dont know why this type of discussion bogs down on this web site. Maybe i'm from a different school then the rest of you but other then Del , Larry Brew, and JDN, all the recent posts seem to take detours. The simple fact is honest men can give opinions and even critical observers can give us food for thought. By way of example(OT) if i were a US Senator and a member of Clinton's jury;i would act like any other juror on any simple case where i would hear the evidence and render my judgment on ONLY such evidence regardless of whether i am Republican or Democrat. The nonsense we are hearing that it would harm the country to have a trial established by the US Constitution which separates us from despots is not only totally irrelevant to the issue at hand but makes me ashamed i was a Democrat most of my life. Goebbels and Goerring must be laughing in their graves tonite as our brainwashing of the people and confusion of the issues on purpose would do credit to any totalitarian regime. Given that backdrop,i dont blame any of you for being confused about alyd and Gruder since the truth gets confusing particularly if you are losing your life savings. Back on topic, my friend TM(as i remember) thought Gruder was a genius, that he was a man with vision and super intelligence, a real pathfinder and visionary who saw a problem ahead of time and was able to invent the solution from the ground up. TM helped Bob establish alyd and get it off the ground. As others joined the team TM left(or was asked to leave the CO???..i dont know which & it doesnt matter)) Notwithstanding being out of the picture, TM continued to see alyd and Bob as winners and was quite vocal in his unabashed enthusiasm as we all heard constantly. He also held a lot of stock. The closest TM ever came to knocking Bob was when i got the impression (only my impresson)that TM thought Bob was listening or being influenced by others who were not giving particularly good aadvice.(the YES men) My first encounter with Bob was on May 22,1998 at the annual meeting. I was near the front and was horrified to see a guy half my age, visibly nervous and one of the worst readers i ever heard(typical mistake..he would say informed instead of incorporated) I thought to myself i better find a phone and dump this stock.......but then the reading part of the meeting was over and Bob spoke w/o a script...the man knew it all, had a vision ,the smarts, and made soo much sense that i wanted to get on the phone and buy more stock. I felt compelled to personally see him after the meeting because this guy was on the ball. Enuf said; i doubt if Jeff could give a better opinion BUT thats not the point...THE POINT is money talks and bullshit walks. The acquisition strategy so eagerly advanced was one of many events that never happened....we all know about Bob's buyback of Aug 17th and a series of other blunders. The
July Roadshow to the street was a failure as evidenced by Gruntal givinga strong buy to a diff y2k co. Also y2k itself was not the moonshot some expected. So we have oneman rule, a perceived lack of credibility, a volatile mkt, no mm's trusting Bob(maybe he read too much too them on the roadshow ) and the lousiest PR and IR, CONCLUSION:If ALYD as GOOD as some have dreamed then let Bob share power.......Put Andrew Vance on the Board..put Del on the Board....put credibility into MGMT team . Guys it doesnt matter what Jeff thinks of Bob..it doesnt matter what i think..the street dont BELIEVE him!!! P>S> Havent even talked about Bob'slawsuit11 Inquiriring minds want to know !!!!
