I too would like it over....but that doesn't mean we should ignore the facts. The constitution is our law. We must follow it. My legal background consists of a lot of reading and serving on jury duty. But, I don't think you need to be a legal expert. And for every expert you find to argue one way, you can find one to argue the other side.

If what was in the Starr report is true regarding alleged perjury, I believe "beyond a reasonable doubt" that President Clinton committed perjury. The constitution says "high crimes and misdemeanors"...well, I think its been proven that he committed a felony. Isn't that enough. If he committed murder but "did a good job", would we rally support for him to remain as president? I certainly hope not, but the way people are reacting today, I'm not so sure. And it makes me worry about this country.

I think most people believe he committed perjury. So, let's follow the constitution. There are only two ways for this to be over - go through a lengthy senate trial and debilitate the country for six months - or, have the man resign.

President Clinton is to blame for all of this. No one else should take responsibility for the enormous amount of funds and time expended on this. He is responsible. And that has caused more polarization in this country than I have seen in a lifetime. He can start the healing process by resigning NOW.
