Not here. If say your brother lied about how much $ he had tucked away in a matrimonial deposition would you consider that a high crime worthy of impeachment or 5 years imprisonment.
I would say no. Perjury should be weighted by its magnitude. How grievous it is.

A "High Crime" meant a felony back then...
You must go back and read the constitution. It does not say the President should be impeached for High crimes and misdemeanors. (Credit the TV for that). It says he is eligible for impeachment for Treason, Bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors. That word other was clearly inserted to mean that any other crimes must be comparable to treason or bribery, crimes which destroy the fabric of the government.

I have seen many newsreels of Presidents crossing the street to shake hands without using the crosswalk. THIS IS A MISDEMEANOR! Surely you don't advocate impeachment for this! Impeachement is only for the other
