Several reasons for wanting SCSI. 1) speed 2) I'm worried about having enough IRQ's so I thought that having a SCSI scanner would keep from tying up one IRQ.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went back through previous posts and found a link to Minotaur. It turned out that it was a link to their component prices web page. That page is big enough to cause my computer to crash! Shows you just how bad I need a new system. Makes it kinda hard to figure out what I want and need if I can't load the page. The Minotaur main page (my system can load this page) is minotaur.com just incase there's anyone out there that's interested.

I've spent some time going through the individual components pages at Minotaur and have sent Jon some questions about what's there.
