Douglas,
I suppose you read message 33167, concerning the cut backs in well servicing. Doea this mean these wells are shut in, if they are not serviced? What happens to them?
do you have any thoughts on the 7 rig rise in the Gulf of Mexico, while overall rig count dropped 25?
My hope/prediction is that the Madrid meeting cleared the way for OPEC, and Mexico, to get serious about cuts. Venezuela is on board. I'll be watching for news of another OPEC meeting before the scheduled March meeting.
I have a friend who works for Texaco near Russia. He says the Russians are incredibly screwed up, total chaos in their oil business. He would not be surprised to see their exports drop, he says their infrastructure is held together by bubble gum, and everyone is on the take. He says they can't keep going much longer without huge capital investment. Have you any thoughts on the situation there?
Thanks.

Mike from La.

Why is it as soon as politics come up, people become crude, start calling each other names, etc? Just can't help themselves themselves, a reflection of the state of the nation.
