like, for instance, perjury, (Crimes that destroy the fabric of our govt.)

Okay, 1) Perjury is not proved, It would be a stretch to say that any of Clinton's statements had a real, material effect in the cases involved,

2) And more important. No legitimate trial depends on having truthful testimony from all parties. I've been on both civil and criminal juries and in each case there were conflicting statements. (There was never a subsequent perjury trial). Our system of laws is based on a conclusion of evidence which includes various physical evidence (for example a blue dress) as well as testimony which is colaborated with additional testimony.

Even if perjury occurs it does not break down the fabric of our laws or our government. I don't say it is a good thing (and I maintain that it did not occurr in this {Clinton's} case) but by itself, even if it did occur you must look farther to determine if this reaches the other as in TREASON, BRIBERY, and OTHER CRIMES and MISDEMENORS. A simple lie under oath abount whether a person appeared aroused when touched DOES NOT THREATEN the form or function of our government. It must rise to such a standard to be impeachable .
