Vlad; I see this situation as you do. While it is well documented the numerous errors that Wilson & Co. have made, there is a window of opportunity to regain credibility. If however, a domestic partner is not signed, it will NOT mean the demise of Vivus, but cause the stock to linger in the $3 range for near term . One must remember soon there will $25 million in cash and new global opportunities. Personally I will hold off final judgement and my buy/sell/hold position until after earnings and conference call. Would anyone like to comment on the terms a domestic partner would have to agree to? Lets assume today with 4,000 scripts per/wk @ $100 per/skript= $20+ million annually. I would assume an substantial up front payment is part of the negotiations. It would be reasonable to expect one years gross sales as part of deal. If in fact that happens, $45 million in cash and maybe some share buyback program. Al

I have a feeling there will be no announcement of a partnership or buyout. They have already prepared us for that in their last statement when they mentioned not doing a deal on unfavorable terms. If things continue to shape up, we may get some price appreciation without the deal. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hoping to one day stand erect,
Colby
