Hello Joe, Thanks for making me laugh tonight - flippant .....(your em 12/20 am) I like the idea of trying irc chat - thank u - Have a Beautiful Christmas - may the World be a better place for all in 99 - From my vantage point it appears the world continues to grow more unbalanced. I happened to be flipping channels the other night and came across a special on severe weather conditions - during the episode they blipped across the screen a woman found frozen on the streets - all that was left were her white tennis shoes - they she lay trying to crawl inside a doorway for shelter....had the door been open - she'd be here today - How many more doors will continue to remain closed? This blip on the screen left me extremely empty, for many years to come I will remember her and her white shoes - I asked myself that night just as I ask myself tonight - what can I do that will really make a difference - Once again I find myself sitting here in front of my PC in my oversized heated house - temps are 12 below and there is snow on the ground - how many more will try to get through the door? Joe, when i started this email it was to have been a 2 liner - to thank u and wish u a merry christmas - I had not planned on laying this on you, but the larger part of me wondered if anyone had ever raised the question of donating a portion of our earnings to a shelter or any worthy cause - Even if it were 1% or a 1/2% the combined contributions would be substantial, and just maybe we could make a difference in a small part of the world. If you have the opportunity, can you let me know your feelings on this - I'd be willing to help in whatever capacity needed........... We could make our contributions bi-annual with our dues - even if its just 1 life = we will have succeeded. Thanks for listening joe
