did we solve the question of whether Syquest could end up defaulting on money owed to RDRT?

It was clear that Syquest was in trouble at the end of 9/98 qtr, therefore IMO, Kurtzweil would have reserved for the loss back then. In any event the loss to RDRT would have not been material to its earnings;

SyQuest's largest unsecured creditors are Akashic Memories and StorMedia, which are owed a combined $1 million, said Tobias Keller, a SyQuest spokesman.
