I don't in anyway condone Mr. Clinton's actions but I don't have the visceral hatred for him that is apparent in many of his opponents. It appears that the same situation existed with regard to Andrew Johnson.
There is nothing new under the sun, that's for sure.

Perusing many message boards on the net reveals a rancor between individuals that is very disturbing to me. A basic tenet of democracy is that elected officials will reflect the people they represent, and clearly the tone I am hearing at cocktail parties and on the net suggests that when we look at congress we are looking at ourselves and many are not liking what they see.
