I become Invisible when I drink Tequilla-- my wild alter-ego comes out and has a good time...

Check out Coba!

You should check out Cozumel, Joe. Pristine east side of the island where you can go skinny-dipping without another soul in sight in addition to tremendous scuba diving on the west side near the resorts. A short boat ride gets you to beautiful Playa de Carmen where you can play golf or go visit Tulum or Coba, both mind-blowing as Street said.

Tokyo I stayed in Melia in the past. It is a nice place next to Marriott.

A few fun/party places to check out:

-Sr. Mango an open air club is just across the street from the Melia. A little quieter than Carlos & Charlie's or Sr. Frogs. The have a stage with bands. And it attract the 30 something crowd.

-Sr. Frogs. In the early evening is a sitdown place were 18+ teenagers and twenty something crowd gather for a sandwich. Later in the evening party starts and the place can get pretty wild.

-Carlos & Charlies similar to Sr. Frogs.

-La Boom Disco. As the name indicates it's a BOOM BOOM BOOM meat market were revelers packed the floor, chest to chest and shoulder to shoulder. Some nights they have a flat cover all you can drink. They also have an adjacent bar were they do heavy Rock & Roll.

-Regine's if you like your disco with a bit more class.

I am a guy that likes the short and teva's so my choice places are Frog's and Carlos.

Looks like you have visited Can-cun before. Chichinitza is definetely worth visiting at least once. But my favorite is Tolum. IMHO the best way to see it is to rent a jeep. Drive straight down to Tolum in the morning and on the way back check out Plaza del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras (there a small Carlos & Cralies there great place for lunch)and other small beach town along the road. But of course this is more fun if you are joined by your wife, or your girlfriend.

I was planning a trip to Can-cun in January but decided to check Margarita Island off Venezuela instead. Can't wait to leave this cold for a week of sun, shorts and Teva's.

Enjoy Can-cun!
