Remember those cut & paste problems I was having? Well it's been about 10 days, no problems. I still get the odd problem in Netscape, crash or system hang, but I think that's normal (for Netscape users)

After an upgrade of the video drivers seem to have fixed the problems. I find it interesting, that the STB video driver fix was for Cad and another program. It was not for the problem I was having, but since the new drivers were installed, poof, the problems were gone. I was the only one complaining about the cut & paste problem to Dell. (According to Dell)

Another problem I have that I thought was related is keyboard problems. I have a Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS that connects through the keyboard. I get double keystrokes and then the computer will beep.

Do anyone know of a fix, besides removing one of the best joysticks on the market?

Win98 just came out with a new OLE fix this week. I am sure that could have been a part of the buggy system I had.

System is NOW 95% stable. Remember the computer from hell for the past 2 months...

Traced problem to these 3 culprits:

Thrustmaster F16 FLCS Joystick (connects to keyboard)
STB Video drivers
HotDog ver 5.0

Possibly:
Windows OLE problem could have compounded the situation, (But the new fix released this week may help)

FIX:
Disconnect the joystick from keyboard - use joystick port only.
Updated the video drivers , new ones were just released a few weeks ago.
Uninstall Hotdog (allot of people complaining about cut & paste problems with Hotdog & Windows)
Install Win98 OLE update released this week.

Thanks for everyone's help!!!
