The big gap in Jan '97 was the 5% annual div (in the form of a
21/20 split). They've given this out every year from '87.
I inherited these shares. They've been in my family for
a couple of generations.
OLDB is a bank in Evansville, Ind.
The shares are tightly held and there are not too many out there.
Most shares are held in the DRIP program.
When there is a dividend, the share price goes up because there are
even more shares taken off the table.
A 0.23 div was just awarded last week and there will be another 5%
div going out in two weeks.
They have 119 branches in 3 states and Toyota just opened a plant
in their area a couple of years ago, so you know the area will
prosper.
They're the dominant bank in the area and a take-over candidate.
