E, THX! Nixon appt'd Reinquist(sp?) So much 4 t'Prez power to "appoint fer life,' eh? (and folks wonder why we TA types believe in cycles, or "what goes around, comes around." Ironically funny, yes? Since I want this guy to get what he's earned by years and years and years of his behaviors and actions, so very very badly, I'm now scanning SI for Street's report back (I HOPE) on what happened legislatively back in horse and buggy days to any and everything Andrew Johnson tried to accomplish while he was impeached and still trying to "serve." I find it fascinating that in this time of instant news and 'net, that we are being influenced by horse and buggy "precedent." Talk about a cycle... And the issue back then was whether or not the South was going to get the money to re-group so as to take on the North again... Sounds pretty important to me. So does the behavioral choices, observed over a long period of time, of Clinton. CAN YOU BELIEVE...after he was pronounced impeached by the House of Representatives, he's stopped the bombing of IRAQ???? The gall of this dude!!! Not only does he NOT have fascinating cajones this man doesn't have the cajones to finish the job over there. Will his reckless behavior ever cease???? Then there is Clinton and his cronyism, who has re-written (TEMPORARILY!!!) the rules in the gold/silver game to the detriment of OUR greater good here at home, but he's also giving a whole new "hook" to the phrase Lame uck President!!!* Ingot we trust!
