Technicality Let's Clinton Off the Hook Regarding Perjury Charge In a shocking surprise discovery, CNN has learned that President Bill Clinton cannot be held accountable for committing perjury due to a legal technicality. Apparently while being sworn in during both the Paula Jones Deposition and the Starr Grand-Jury the President was crossing his fingers. This finger crossing negated any promises that he was making to tell the truth thus leaving him the option to lie without the fear of prosecution. When House Democrats learned of the finger crossing they swiftly began to use it as a means of stopping the impeachment process. Said one Democratic Congresswoman, "Bill Clinton is the most moral and ethical man that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I knew all along that he would never commit perjury. It's not his fault that Republican lynch mob was not smart enough to check if he was crossing his fingers." Said another Democratic Congressman and strong Clinton defender, "We don't call him 'Slick' for nothing. If he was crossing his fingers then he was never officially sworn in. It looks like the Republicans have been foiled again." Our CNN public opinion poll, taken just minutes after the story first broke, shows that 68% of Americans believe that if Clinton was crossing his fingers while being sworn-in, that he should not be impeached.

Haim, you are so right. Money is much more important in the US than HONOR or MORALS. When I think how far down the morals ladder we have gone in a few years, it makes me want to puke. Forget perjury and lies, what kind of a sick society allows a President to get 37 blow jobs from an intern in and near the Oval Office and still keep his job!! Anyone who thinks this is acceptable behavior is some kind of a perverted idiot. What company would allow any executive to keep his job after such a disgusting action !! I believe when the people stop and think this through, the polls will change, I certainly hope they will. CPH
