RavenCrazy,

Stick to discussing stocks.

Your political discussion does more harm to your cause than good.

Happy Holidays,

Dor

Or y'all could call your senators to let them know that a President who harasses women on the job, has sex with his underlings, lies under oath and uses the machinery of his office to protect himself, does not deserve to be President.

I don't like liars of any complexion or rank- and Ollie North's lies rankled as much as Clinton's- I will not comment on what Reagan knew and when he knew it since I thought the man was out to lunch for his entire Presidency, and probably had very little idea what was actually going on. The fact that Iran/Contra did not go the way I felt it should does not diminish my feelings that this President has committed an impeachable offense. Not because he lied about sex, or had sex, or didn't have sex with someone else who was having sex, but BECAUSE he repeatedly lied under oath, obstructed justice, and used the machinery of his office to obstruct justice.

This is hardly a dark time in US history and it is far from being a "coup" as some Dem's have opined loudly and repeatedly in the news. It would be a pretty incompetent coup that killed its own leader and replaced a lame duck opposition leader with a healthy one, for should the President be impeached it is not a Republican who assumes office but the Democratic Vice President of the US- ALbert Gore.

While we can all disagree about the definition of what constitutes an "impeachable offense" it is a pleasure to see the orderly process of government take place even under such unusual circumstances.

Seems to me to be a testament to our form of government.
