Hi Annette Sunday December 20 1:17 PM ET Quick Pick-Up of IPO Issuance Seen In '99 By Holly Rosenkrantz NEW YORK (Reuters) - While the Christmas and New Year holidays will slow the new issues market in the next few weeks, a quick resumption is seen in January as underwriters strive to make up for the sharp decline of late 1998. ''Instead of the usual slow January, we'll see an early pick-up,'' said David Menlow, president of IPO Financial Network. ''There were some huge drops in income from underwriting this year, and they'll want to take advantage of momentum that has been generated recently,'' he said. Me? New England. To the best of my knowledge, the only one up here is going to open soon (maybe it just has?) outside of Boston. No Costco's either. Any Strawberries where you are? That's the biggest record store around here. Lynn I'm going to have to see if Strawberries sells anything for NAVR _after_ Christmas.
