Hi teevee..........I mostly agree with your thinking about DeBeers hypothetical strategy.....it is absolutely in their best interest to control the High end Diamond market, thats where all the profit is.......they have lost so much market share and control over the last 10 years that the situation is becoming precarious for the "CSO"............ if ....and a big if....the Wsp resource turns out to be as big as "Mir" then DeBeers will have to make a move on Wsp/Abz....the difficulty is RTZ, who basically controls Aber but not Wsp.......Will RTZ want Wsp more than DeBeers......well sure, why wouldn't they, unless they've already cut a deal with DeBeers on the Diavik production, which I don't believe they have,if everything turns out well at Snap Lake, then Wsp will become pivotal to Canadian diamond sales and we could see a bidding war to rival the Diamond fields play..........on another note..there is no way this will dampen exploration companys from further exploration of Canadian diamonds.....just the opposite......... it will spur more companies to go even further into the fields looking for diamonds......another Snap Lake is out there for someone............the long and the short of it is, if Wsp has the goods and it appears that they do, if grade, values, quality hold up, will know by June/July then Wsp will be a force to be reckoned with by the "CSO", this will in turn lead to a bidding war for the ownership of the Snap Lake resource, at least that's how I see it........
