I agree that "Whoever runs for House Speaker will need an umbrella." Only saints or masochists need apply. If you haven't led an absolutely perfect life you better enjoy the pain that is certain to come your way. I'm off for two week vacation so I will be out of the debate for a while. I hope during that time that the Republicans come to the full realization that they have shot themselves in the head. I also hope that there will arise from the Democratic ranks in the sessions to come those who know how to play hardball catchup. As sting of Watergate is obviously still very much with the Republicans so it will be with this partisan crusade. There is no cure for stupidity or forgiveness for cruelty.
