If you live in a dead spot, and that is where you have the phone on most of the time then your battery will run down faster because the phone has to transmit more to stay in touch with the base. You may want to try turning your phone off when you are at home and only back on when you are back on the road, you will have longer battery life and be more satisfied with your phone. Besides who is going to call your cell first anyways?
