You are right, at least in the case of this ex-Repub, I never was in the RR tent and was fairly apolitical. I have become a Democrat because I abhor the tactics of the Republican party. They have become zealots who want to impost and implement their agenda at any and all costs. They are as much a danger to America as Joe McCarthy ever was. They are sure to remembered by the same way they operate as he did by going to excess in an undemocratic way to destroy people while claiming they were defending the democracy the whole time.
