Afternoon {{{DGIVAHOLICS!!!}}} Well, we had a bit of an event in the neighborhood today... Just because, and only because, I needed to get work done in the yard today (I am installing a sprinkler system) it decided to up and snow and hail on us today. Snow and hail in San Jose... San Jose California, that is! Just too much! I have heard "rumors" of such things happening in San Jose before, but I have never been witness to them - until now. As to the following statement: The only thing REAL is ANNOUNCED contracts, IMO. This is Bull! (please excuse the pun) and I don't believe that you really mean this. The existence of a contract is not dependant upon the issuance of a Press Release. In our own DGIV experience we have seen things announced in Press Releases that were not real (SB-10 filing) and we have seen things happen that were not announced (the filling of CFO duties with a contractor and a few others I could mention). Now to be honest, I don't know if I believe this rumor myself... and I do consider it a rumor, no matter how much I'd like to believe it to be fact. The interesting part is that both World Vision and Cheryl Mitchell are passing on the same information - AND CHERYL HAS INVITED US TO SWING BY THE OFFICE AND TAKE A GANDER! I have 3 thoughts on all that... 1) With both the World Vision and Cheryl passing this info on, it is tantamount to an announcement by the company. They are telling folks that call. They have just not placed it on the business wire. If this rumor turns out to be false, somebody needs to be held accountable. If this rumor turns out to be true and Jimmy Chin didn't want the information out, then he needs to get control of his communication team and make them understand what is OK to put out and what isn't! 2) I am planning on spending a few days in Orange County, CA starting the day after Christmas. I am thinking I would like to take DGIV up on the offer to examine the contract the following Monday or Tuesday. I will see if can make the arrangements... 3) If I do make that trip to DGIV and since I could be considered to have a biased opinion on the company, perhaps it would be a good idea to have Paul (in Irvine?) accompany me... or perhaps Jane (San Diego?). I know a couple of Benji's have also been trying to get a trip together. Now sounds like a good time! If any of you are interested, please let me know. Lazarus, counting down and thinking there will be a lot more ups and downs in someone!s life in only 27 more days...
