<<Why was Bush not investigated for lying to the american citizens.<<

Because he was not under oath or was there a Grand Jury convened.

Scary, naive posts here...

I wonder what would happen if they let a zealous prosecutor like Kenn Starr with a blank check loose on all republican members of the congress investigating into their private sexual lives. And then have them to tell the truth and nothing but the truth in front of a grand jury. Now that would be a really interesting situation to watch and to listen.

"There was an earlier post regarding Bush. Which really made sense. He went on national television and stated. "Read My Lips No more Taxes" and then turned around and handed the voters a tax increase. Why was Bush not investigated for lying to the american citizens."

Hmm, are you trying to say that Bush had already raised taxes when he said that, and was therefore lying? Or are you claiming that you can prove that he had the specific intention of raising taxes when he said that?

Of course if he were Clinton, he'd say "It's wasn't a lie, we just raised the old taxes".
