I would say a cougar could eat a German Shepherd. (Unfortunatly, my shepherds cannot grasp the concept of a spoon-- I have tried.)

But, I would lay money that cougar could kill ANY size snake.

BTW, the only Western hemisphere cat that is really close to a leopard is the jaguar.

Cougars and Mountain Lions are pretty separate-- but they are all related more to leopards than lions.

(I keep up with animals higher in the food chain than me. Just to be safe....)
