Dennis V. - You are at least four years behind on the development of cell phone market, E commerce, vsat technology, and their use in Asian countries. That is what I see when I visit these places. Asian and West African countries implement much more advanced technologies than in USA or Canada or Europe. In certain Russian regions where oil industry being developed do not understand the concept of a coke vending machine that delivers cool, canned drinks. Mexico City is more advanced Moscow.

Follow Motorola's and GM's Hughes foreign investments or contracts or Asian distributors. You will discover the current reality about satellites communication? Or you can follow global contracts (US $) from these countries. The contracts are open to any company in any country to bid. VSAT is used to transmit the stock market data and business inventory or market data in India, Singapore, Phillipines, Korea, Hong Kong, etc. Asian countries where technical labor is cheap are connected via Internet/Sat communications for software development, IT sourcing contracts in USA/Europe and technical support - providing 24 hours service round-the-clock. Guess where a majority of software in Silicon Valley were developed? Not in the USA. When you call MSFT for technical support, guess who is answering the question. Not from Redmond, Wa. Add this to your search: use of "smart card" is in those countries vs. USA. You can see smart card's use at all airports in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.

I like to look at the global market drivers for any company's product - VLNC or their competitor's. Be it a battery or a product of genetics research (Re.: recent Korean cloning results.) Ram
