You need to look at the Form 144's and the proxy statements to compare the number of shares each individual owns and the number of shares subject to options to determine if they are actually lowering their ownership position. There are many reasons to sell, of course, related to their personal financial needs. One can be that they need cash to exercise options that are about to expire or which are becoming exerciseable.
