>>Do you think those factors are going to change for the worse
any time soon?<<

don't know. this situation is unique. we get deflationary pressure from the rest of the world. we get inflationary pressure from the fed - albeit, in real estate and stocks for the most part. i sense the stress on the fabric of the economy but i can't get enough of a feel for which way it will go.

the only feeling i have is that if it goes it will be quick and severe. not sure when it will go, if it happens.

i do think the fed will not lower rates this tuesday. i'm waiting for him to cut off the money growth that he keeps throwing at the markets, too. this bubble might not go until after he cuts off the funds.

of course, using 1996 mentalities, inflation must be accounted for and lowered interest rates must be considered. i just don't think that paying 125% for 50% of a business is accounted for by those two factors - not even close. imho, it is based on swag speculation and greed.
