<--OT--> 'Making friends, I see'.

I don't know Cap'n,if taking out Saddam is the objective that is one thing but destroying the infrastructure of the country and thereby diminishing the opportunity for the people to make a decent or even a meager living is another which is what seems to be happening with the sanctions and the bombings for a decade now.Funny thing is Saddam seems to be doing OK and we are not making any friends either,go figure.

If interested you can go to the following sites and click on Editorial and then on Letters to the editor and see what 'they' are saying.BTW Kaleej Times & Gulf Times are English dailies from UAE (Dubai,Abu Dhabi,Sharjah etc) some of the neighbors of Saddam,these are some the people the U.S is supposed to be protecting from Saddam,how very interesting.
