Sign up for the service, I'm paying $49.95 through Charter/Earthlink and it's worth every penny of it. Does that $39.95 include the cable modem? Out of the $49.95 I pay $14.95 goes to leasing the modem...

\|> My aol account is too slow and too unstable for me. I can't agree more. AOL is way t......o.....o s....l....o....w, and way unstable, in the sense that it keeps dropping my dial-up connection. Once sign up w/ athm, I bet you, like many of us who already subscribed, would talk to your friends about the excitement of having very impressive high speed internet connection. I doubt ANYONE who has used cable modem would want to think of bitter experiences w/ AOL. -andrew
