John:

As much as I think that Ed is raining on our little parade..I totally agree with you.

I remember just before Bre-X imploded, I use to read for hours the postings on their thread.......and Bill Jackson was playing the role of "devils advocate" in expressing his comments about the fact he did not believe the hype which was flowing in that thread...and his commentaries were ridiculed mercilessly.

I don't mind Eds' comments..I would prefer his tone to be a little more gentle for us sensitive types.

Regards:

Ron

I also agree with you, John. The point is, however, that the criticism be objective.

Re: pump and dump - perhaps but I don't think so in the classic sense. There was a person who appeared on the threads a while back who was certainly pumping QTR and implied he might have inside information. Personally, I'd forgotten about QTR and his posts brought the stock back to my attention. After reading his post and checking out QTR's plans, I bought in. My take on this chap was he bought a pail of the stock when it was way oversold last August and September. Knowing QTR's plans which were public knowledge, he made a wise buy and by going on the threads, brought the stock to others attention. Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe I'm naive but I also can't see where brokers were involved. Ed Pakstas has just posted a website where you can see their activity but nothing stands out. I suppose a group could attempt to run a box but with the number of shares outstanding, highly unlikely.

If QTR was oversold a few months ago, possibly it was overbought a week ago. I don't know and only time will tell. Point is we should be objective and stay with the facts.

Everything I see indicates QTR have adopted a frugal, cash saving plan to explore a wide group of excellent properties with good partners. Three properties are currently being drilled. Combined with activity on neighbouring ground, rumors can be expected and the market will be volatile. This play has a long way to go. It needs time. It ain't over until the fat lady sings and she's not even in sight yet.

Happy Holidays!

John L.,
Realistic response. These juniors can give you fits. I've been in and out of QTR a number of times in the past four years. Most of the time I'd take the money on a big run-up. Really though of all the Juniors I've been in,QTR has been the most solid. It keeps on coming back because of all the research and targets from the Chevron days. Good luck again. StevieD
