John I agree.But I think you will find there is more money shorting the VSE and ASE than there is going long.The disadvantage of the little guy or should I say the advantage of the boutique houses whp play the ASE and VSE are at an advantage in that they can short.If we deal through a large discount on-line service the VSE and ASE are out.

If I wanted to open a short account to short the VSE or ASE I have to go to Cannacord out west and they will only short for you and give no info due to licensing. I have already checked it out and have the forms here.
Just as a point of info.....I went to four full service offices and tried to get someone to short a stock on the VSE for me and some say they can but surprisingly 2 of them haven't shorted a stock in over 5 years and one said he wasn't quite sure of the procedure.???? He said 15% of his business is long in stocks and the other 85% is in mutual funds.....GET THAT.
