Hi Charles.

I think that a TSE listing should help a companies profile but its price will reflect it prospects.

As an example look at GIT when it got its TSE listing last Jan. The price ran from $2.20 to $4.20 from Jan 21 to Feb 9 then drifted... then really drifted.

We might see a small bump in price when it hits the TSE but this company will trade higher on anticipation of this years exploration.

This is another of those multiple choice unresolvables IMO it a company switches exchanges whether it goes up OR down you will know for sure that it was :

1. Because of the move or

2. In spite of the move. or

3. Nothing to do with the move. or

4. Some combination of the above

In addition if the price does not go up or down it will assuredly stay were it is. You can theorize till the cows ( female BULLS) come home and you'll never know for sure

CK:

Big Fish (WSP), Little Pond (VSE)
to
Big Pond (TSE), Little Fish (WSP)

The question is did our valiant little upstream swimmer swallow a diamond enroute? And how many players with a line dangling into the Big Pond will be willing to ante up to find out?

Different market, different players, different price.
Ultimately the price will depend on the real property potential, the capabilities of company management, and what the big pond players thinks of both of those. If they like it and are interested then price will rise accordingly, if they adopt a wait and see the price will wallow and drift sideways, if are still skeptical and remain so the price will languish.
Remember that for the players in the big pond a C$5-$10 price tag ain't all that much, especially if the results are borne out and the investment is more solid when made.

It's kinda like the industry in a way. The big corporations really don't worry about competitive staking from little guys in an area play for any mineral, or in any play around the world for that matter. They just wait for the little guys (prospectors and junior companies) to wear themselves out tying to prove the property and then they pick it up when the little guys staying power is gone. Or alternatively if the little guy does actually come up with something, no sweat, they just buy it up.

Maybe some brave soul would volunteer to put together a pool for the price of WSP for say a) what it lists on the TSE at, b) price at end of first trading day, c) price at end of first trading week, and d) price at end of first trading month.

No I'm not volunteering, but it might be an interesting exercise to keep us busy until something happens.
